To speed up the handling of your request, please include if possible:
- the email address tied to your account;
- the app version (visible in Profile → bottom of the page);
- the device used (model, iOS or Android version);
- a precise description of the issue, with screenshots if possible.
2. Manage my subscription
2.1 How do I cancel my subscription?
Kaiho subscriptions are managed directly by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). To cancel:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kaiho → Cancel subscription.
- Android: Google Play app → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kaiho → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep Premium access until that date.
2.2 How do I restore my purchases?
If you switched device or reinstalled the app, you can recover your subscription in seconds:
- Sign in with the same account you originally used (Apple, Google or email).
- Open Profile → Subscription section → Restore purchases.
- Your Premium status is automatically restored.
If restoration doesn't work, make sure you are signed in with the right Apple/Google account (the one used at purchase) and contact us.
2.3 I don't get my Premium content
First, check that:
- the purchase was confirmed by Apple/Google (you received a receipt email);
- you are signed in with the account used for the purchase;
- you tried Restore purchases from the profile.
If everything looks fine but Premium access still doesn't arrive, contact us with your account email and the purchase date.
3. Manage my account
3.1 How do I change my password?
If you created your account with an email address:
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password.
- Enter your email address.
- You'll receive a six-digit code by email.
- Enter the code in the app and set a new password.
If you signed up with Apple or Google, your password is managed by those services and cannot be changed inside Kaiho.
3.2 How do I change my quit date or settings?
All personal settings (quit date, cigarettes per day, pack price) can be edited at any time from Profile → My info section.
3.3 How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly from the app:
- Profile → bottom of the page → Delete my account.
- Confirm deletion.
Deletion is permanent and triggers the erasure of all your data within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Cancelling any active subscription must be done on the Apple or Google side (see section 2.1).
4. Using the app
4.1 Is the app a medical device?
No. Kaiho is a wellness coaching app. It is not a substitute for medical advice. For any question about your health or a smoking cessation process, please consult a qualified healthcare professional (physician, addiction specialist, tobacco-cessation specialist).
4.2 Which features are free?
Tracking (smoke-free day counter, savings, wellness milestones), achievements and profile are fully free. The preparation program, daily coaching, full anti-craving exercises and the relapse module require a Premium subscription.
4.3 Is my data synced across devices?
Yes. As long as you sign in with the same account, your tracking, progress and settings are automatically synced across all your devices (iPhone and Android).
4.4 Does the app work offline?
Yes. Kaiho is built to work offline. Your tracking, exercises and progress remain available without an internet connection. Sync happens automatically as soon as you regain network.
